The present invention is directed toward a toy water gun which is operated by selectively releasing water from a water reservoir that is pressurized with air. The present invention is a one piece device formed in the general shape of a gun that has a manually operated air pump incorporat
4757946 Flow actuated pulsator July 19, 1988
A flow actuated pulsator for shooting water in consecutive pulses. The pulsator is powered by water flowing under pressure therethrough and includes a nozzle for ejecting water at high speed, a pulse valve which cycles through opened and closed states to effect on-off cycling of water
4724683 Johnson tube, a thermodynamic heat pump February 16, 1988
The kinetic energy of a liquid flowing under pressure form a source is employed to power a heat pump for accumulating thermal energy in a controlled volume. The liquid is jetted at high speed into a low pressure region in a drift tube wherein a portion of the fluid flash vaporizes and
4591071 Squirt gun May 27, 1986
A toy squirt gun which shoots a continuous high velocity stream of water. The squirt gun is configured as a structure facilitating partial filling with water leaving a void for compressed air. The squirt gun includes a nozzle for ejecting water at high velocity, a pressurization pump for
4509361 Soil moisture potential determination by weight measurement April 9, 1985
An instrument for measuring soil moisture potential comprising a moisture absorber movably coupled to the soil being measured by means for maintaining said absorber in moisture potential equilibrium with said soil and permitting weight measurement of said absorber. The instrument inc
4476693 Thermal energy accumulation October 16, 1984
A fluid flowing under pressure from a source powers a thermal energy accumulation means which accumulates thermal energy in a controlled volume through which the fluid flows. The device comprises a heat engine and heat exchanger working in combination to extract thermal energy from fluid
4253606 Automatic sprinkler control March 3, 1981
An automatic water control valve for a lawn sprinkler system for maintaining soil moisture at a preset level. A spring loaded mechanism opens the valve when released by a water sensitive element which monitors the moisture content of the ground area serviced by the sprinkler system.
4211362 Smoke detecting timer controlled thermostat July 8, 1980
A timer controlled smoke detecting thermostat has been designed. A control circuit provides for two set point temperatures and time settings for controlling the periods during which one or the other of the set-point temperatures is to be maintained. Means for detecting smoke and sounding
4181843 Variable resistance type sensor controlled switch January 1, 1980
A circuit for controlling the flow of pulsating direct current by causing the on or off state of a gated switch to depend on the resistance of a sensor. The sensor used is of the variable resistance type whose impedance varies in a continuous manner with the phenomenon for which it was
4143267 Digital distance measuring instrument March 6, 1979
An apparatus for making distance measurements with a high degree of accuracy and a means for interpreting and displaying the results on a digital readout. A binary encoded scale which exhibits a one to one correspondence with discrete locations on said scale and the coded information
